All quotations are subject to availability of services quoted and are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and deposit received. Quotations are made in Australian Dollars and are therefore subject to fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
Payment can be made by either cheque, money order or by wire bank transfer. Fluctuations in the currency exchange rate on the day of the purchase may result in a slight difference in the totals. Please note the wire transfer incurs bank transfer fees (on both sides). You will need to ensure your payment covers these fees.
Total payment for the tour should be finalized 8 weeks before the arrival date.

A deposit of $500 will secure your place in the tour. The deposit should be paid as soon as possible after making your initial booking.
Quotations are based on twin-share rooming arrangements. Should you require a single room, a supplement of AU$600 will secure a private room for you in all accommodation and train travel.

29 - 16 days before arrival date 35% cancellation fee
15 - 08 days before arrival date 50% cancellation fee

There will be no refund for any reason once the trip has begun unless through our fault you do not receive the trip you paid for. There will be no refund for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing or any other charges once the trip begins.
It is the responsibility of all passengers regardless of nationality and destination to check with the consulate of the country they are visiting for current entry requirements and to obtain the required entry visa.
Passports need to be current with at least 6 month validity from date of departure. A Visa is required.
As visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice we recommend that you verify health and visa requirements with the appropriate consulate prior to departure.
There are no special vaccinations required to enter Egypt from Australia but it is necessary to consult your doctor regarding routine medical concerns inherent in international travel.
Travel Insurance is compulsory. Your policy number will be required when finalizing payments 8 weeks prior to arrival.
This tour needs 10 bookings to go ahead. Should the minimum number not be reached we reserve the right to postpone the tour. Under these circumstances, all monies paid will be returned to you, including your deposit, or you will be given the option to carry payments over to the next departure date. It is unadvisable to book and pay for any flights or insurances until the minimum number has been confirmed.
Itinerary may change slightly in accordance with group needs, service availability or matters beyond the tour operators’ control.
**It is recommended that the group establish a “tipping kitty” of $AU 50 each to avoid the inconvenience of tipping individually during group outings (porters, camel drivers, temple guardians etc) Please Note; the Tour Guide and Felucca Crew are tipped separately. Please allow $AU 40 for the Tour Guide and $AU 20 for the Felucca.
